Friday Bible Study: The Letter to the Ephesians
Paul's letter to the Ephesians unfolds in two movements: the first three chapters lay out the staggering theological reality of who believers are in Christ—chosen, adopted, and united to God's people across every dividing line—while the last three chapters work out what that identity looks like in daily life, from personal character to marriage to spiritual warfare. It’s one of the clearest places in Scripture where doctrine and practice are shown to be inseparable, answering not just "what should I do" but "who am I, and why does that matter for how I live." Ephesians helps us understand, and live faithfully, our identity in Christ. No advance reading required.

Join us for a journey this semester through James K. A. Smith’s On the Road with Saint Augustine. Smith introduces us to one of history’s greatest thinkers (Augustine) — a reliable guide for the questions that often shape college life: identity, ambition, friendship, love, and restlessness. Augustine’s story speaks directly to the search for meaning in a world full of pressure and distraction. We’ll explore how his wisdom can help us navigate our own desires and discover a deeper, more purposeful life.
